Nigeria parades oldest T/Tennis team in Rio.

Nigeria’s Twenty- fourteen International Table Tennis Federation, ITTF,Star Player, Aruna Quadri, has been bye to the second round of the Men’s Singles of the table tennis event of the Twenty-Sixteen Rio Olympic Games.

Quadri, was given a wild card after being listed among the top thirty- two table tennis players in the singles event as Team Nigeria will today knows its opponents in the team and singles events.

Quadri, is still the best Africa’s ping-ponger based on the latest ranking released by ITTF for the month of August as the Nigeria’s sensational table tennis players is ranked forty in the world while Omar Assar of Egypt is fifty-one.

With this development, the Egyptian will start his campaign from the first round like segun Toriola and his sibling, Khaled Assar in the men’s singles, while Quadri will commence his campaign from the second round.

In the Men’s Singles chart, Aruna Quadri is rated twenty-seven while Asar is placed Thirty-seven in the table tennis event of the Rio Twenty- Sixteen Olympic Games.
