Town hall drama: Nigerians tackle Buhari’s ministers.

Federal Government says it will result to borrowing to fund the twenty sixteen budget due to the declining price of oil in the international market.

Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun stated this at the special Town Hall meeting organised by the Ministry of Information in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the National Institute in Abuja.

She said Nigeria was largely dependent on proceeds from oil to fund the budget, but the resurgence of militancy in the oil rich Niger-Delta region had reduced oil production leaving the government with no choice but to borrow.

On his part, Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma, said government had put a mechanism in place to track the efficient implementation of the twenty sixteen budget in line with the Change Agenda of the government.
