Head cooach of Nigeria’s Under twenty-three, Samson Siasia, says he will concentrate on building a solid defenceline as Nigeria is set to tackle Denmark in the quarter final of the football event in the ongoing Rio Olympic Games, in Brazil.
Speaking at the post match conference, Siasia, who acknowledged that the team’s defenders were not at their best against Colombia, said the team would approach its konck-out match against Denmark with a different tactics in order to book semi final ticket.
On his assessment of the Colombia’s squad, Siasia stated that the team had always been a good team, in spite of the challenges they faced before coming to the Olympics, stressing that all the teams at this tournament were good.
On the injury to Oghenekaro Etebo, Coach Siasia said he would have to wait for the verdict of the medical crew.
The team captain, Mikel Obi, said the team would work harder ahead the quarter final match against Denmark, adding that they never underrated Colombia in the last group B match since they were professionals.
The team departed Sao Paulo today for Salvador, where the team will play against Denmark at the Arena Fonte Nova on Saturday.
