The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, will return to Barcelona after his new club has been paired with the Catalan giants in the Uefa Champions League.
City’s new manager, who twice won the competition during his illustrious spell in charge at Barca, guided Manchester City into the group stage with victory over Steaua Bucharest in the play-off round.
The two sides were drawn together in Group C alongside Borussia Monchengladbach and Scottish champions Celtic.
In other fixtures of Uefa Champions League, English Premier League champions, Leicester will play Porto, Club Brugge and FC Copenhagen in their debut campaign.
Arsenal is drawn alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Basel and Ludogorets, while Tottenham will play against Monaco, CSKA Moscow and Bayer Leverkusen.
Spanish side, Real Madridwill challenge Borussia Dortmund, Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon and Legia Warsaw of Poland.
In Group E, CSKA Moscow will slug it out with Bayer Leverkusen of Germany, Tottenham and Monaco of France.
Juventus is in group H along side Sevilla, Lyon and Dinamo Zagreb.
