The Nigeria Police have assured the public that they have commenced investigation into the robbery incident that occurred at the Jos home of Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi on Monday.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Plateau State Command, ASP Terna Tyopev confirmed to newsmen that they had commenced serious investigation.
The Armed robbers had on Monday attacked the Jos home of Onazi.
The robbers, who were four in number, took away several valuable items including a white Toyota Highlander and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The newserablog learnt that no life was lost although they beat up the father of the Nigerian international.
Meanwhile, Onazi’s family members reported the incident to the police, who have promised to bring the hoodlums to book and also help with the recovery of the stolen items.
Onazi’s dad has been discharged from hospital, where he was treated.
