Flamingoes, defeat Queens Football League All- Stars 8-I.

 

As part of its readiness for the FIFA Under Seventeen Women’s World Cup.Nigeria  in a warm up match.

The team skipper, Rasheedat Ajibade, scored a hattrick, while the duo of Folashade Ijamilusi and Chidinma Okeke, scored a brace each, just as Cynthia Aku scored a goal for Flamingoes.

The team chief coach, Bala Nikyu, said the team technical crew would continue work on the team’s weakness, adding that they had been working on the players confidence level.

Nigeria is paired in the same Group alongside Brazil, England and Korea Democratic People Republic in the Fifth FIFA Under Seventeenth Women’s World Cup, slated for Thirtieth of this month through Twenty-first of next month in Jordan.

The Flamingoes’ first match is against Brazil on Saturday, First of October, which is Nigeria’s Independence Day.
