Saraki identifies cause of Nigeria’s economic troubles.

As debate on the state of the nation’s economy rages on, Senate President – Bukola Saraki seems to have identified how what is now popularly known as recession and hardship came about being experienced by Nigerians.

He says it is because President Muhammadu Buhari predecessors failed, when Nigeria had it financially or economically good during their administrations.

Saraki does not believe Nigeria would ever experience its prevailing economic crisis if the country’s foreign reserves had not been depleted light finger leaders.

While not discountenancing effects of sliding international prices of crude oil on Nigeria’s economic fortunes, the Senate president is not in doubt that prudence and frugal spending would have prevented the country from going on its knees.
