NFF Statement on Zambia, Nigeria World Cup Qualifier.


All other things being equal, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, says the current financial crisis rocking the federation will not debar the NFF from conveying Super Eagles to Zambia ahead of the Twenty- Eighteen Russia FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The NFF made this statement based on a report in some section of the media that the federation cannot fly the Super Eagles to Zambia for the FIFA World Cup qualifier in Ndola, on Sunday, nineth October, twenty- sixteen.

While admitting financial challenges as a result of the current state of the economy, the NFF, said the situation had not gotten to a level where the national’s apex football body would not be able to convey the national team to Zambia, in Ndola.

It assured Nigeria’s teeming soccer fans that necessary arrangements had been concluded to fly Super Eagles players and officials to Zambia and back to their respective club sides in Europe.
