Nigeria’s Flamingoes lost to Brazil with a lone goal, while Ghana were hammered five goals to nill by Japan as African teams extending a losing run at the FIFA Under-seventeen Women’s World Cup in Jordan.

On Friday, fellow African flag bearers Cameroon also lost three goals to two to Canada.

The sixteen-year-old striker Micaelly opened scoring for Brazil three minutes from half time and that will prove the match winner for the South Americans.

Meanwhile, It was a keenly contested game with Brazil barely shading the possession with fifty-one percent to Nigeria’s forty-nine percent.

Nigeria’s next match will be on Tuesday against England.
