AWC 2016: Omagbemi invites 30 Falcons.

Nigeria’s female national team the Super Falcons

Head Coach of Super Falcons Florence Omagbemi has invited thirty players to the Abuja camp of the senior women national football team to heighten Nigeria’s preparations for the tenth African Women Championship AWC.

Nigeria’s female national team now made up of eight overseas-based professionals and twenty-two home-based players.

Reigning African Woman Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala is the most prominent of the overseas-based contingent while Osinachi Ohale leads the home-based group.

The Women Africa Cup of Nations, holds in Cameroon from November nineteen to December third.

Invited players Home-based players: Ibubeleye Whyte, Gladys Akpa, Ugo Njoku, Chioma Wogu, while Overseas-based players: Rita Chikwelu, Ngozi Okobi , Faith Ikidi, Ngozi Ebere and others in attendance.
