NFF insists on ‘Operation Stop Algeria’.

The Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, has again praised the Federal Government and its sponsors for the successful prosecution of last Sunday’s twenty-eighteen FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zambia, in Ndola.

A goal each from Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho steered Nigeria’s Super Eagles to a two- one win against Zambia.

While stressing that their good intentions made Super Eagles to record a victory against the Chipolopolo of Zambia, Pinnick, said the federation’s major partner, Supersport Nigeria, paid for the chartered flight that conveyed one hundred and forty- eight delegation to Zambia.

Pinnick, who mentioned that the company also paid for the refunds tickets of Super Eagles professional players, said the outfit’s gesture alongside other sponsors were heartwarming as it went a long way to place Super Eagles in a vantage position in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

After the two-one victory against Zambia, the NFF Boss, said the team was focussing on next month’s Matchday two clash, with the Fennecs of Algeria, a team that featured at the twenty-ten and twenty- fourteen FIFA World Cup finals.

He appealed to other corporate organizations to join and assist the federation with more financial support to help the Super Eagles qualify for Russia twenty- eighteen FIFA World Cup.
