CBN gives 310 youths N930m to start business.

Over three hundred youths, including members of the National Youth Service Corps have received nine hundred and thirty million naira from the Central Bank of Nigeria to establish profitable ventures in different sectors of the economy.

The youths, who emerged through a rigorous competitive process, received three million naira under the Youth Entrepreneurial Development Programme.

Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria , Godwin Emefiele, said the Programme was introduced March this year by the apex bank as part of efforts to reduce the nation’s un-employment rate, which had increased to thirteen point three per cent in the second quarter.
