Senate has concluded arrangements to probe the well over four hundred and twenty billion dollars donations to Nigeria from international bodies and organizations to help stop wild polio transmission in the country.

The Senate has however called on President Muhammadu Buhari, members of the presidential task force on Polio Eradication and all the thirty-six State Governors to as a matter of urgency, convene a meeting where they would brainstorm on how to get Nigeria back on track to achieving a Polio- free status.

Addressing Journalists in Abuja to mark this year’s World Polio Day, Chairman, Senate Committee on Primary Health Care and Communicable Diseases, Mao Ohuabunwa, PDP, Abia North said the probe became imperative to ensure donor funds to Nigeria for the eradication of Polio was well spent.
