Udoh wins CAF topscorer award.

Ace striker of Enyimba international, Mfon Udoh, is the highest goal scorer of the twenty-sixteen CAF Champions League.

Udoh scored nine goals to top the scorers’ chart of the competition, which ended on Sunday.

Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa defeated Zamalek of Egypt to win the first continental title for the first time.

Despite Enyimba exiting the competition in the group stages, the Nigerian football player had more goals than other players in the competition.

Reda Hajouj of Wydad Casablanca came second with six goals, DR Congo’s Idriss Mbombo of Zesco United, scored five goals while eight other players with four goals each.

All of Udoh’s nine goals were scored in the People’s Elephant’s home matches in the competition.
