Aruna Quadri nominated for ITTF Star Awards.

International Table Tennis Federation, ITTF, has nominated Nigeria’s sensational table tennis player, Aruna Quadri, for the twenty- sixteen Male and Female Table Tennis Stars and Star Point.

Winners of the twenty-sixteen ITTF Star Awards, will be crowned on Thursday, Eight of December, in Doha, Qatar.

The ITTF Star Awards, which will be in its fourth edition, will be held at the Doha’s famous and prestigious Sheraton Hotel to celebrate the world’s best table tennis players’ achievements in twenty-sixteen.

Quadri Aruna, is the first ever African ping-ponger to reach quarter final of Olympic Games and he is the highest ever world ranked African player to be rated twenty-fifth in the world

Other nominated ping-pongers are, Fan Zhendong of China, Ma Long of China,
Jun Mizutani of japan,

Ding Ning of China tops the list of female table tennis nominated for the award
followed by her compatriots, Miu Hirano, Mima Ito of Japan and Kim Song-I of People’s Republic of Korea.
