Mourinho gets one-match touchline ban, fine.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has been given a one-game touchline ban and fined fifty thousand pounds by the English Football Association for two charges.

An independent regulatory commission heard that Mourinho accepted the comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor ahead of the game against Liverpool last month, which constituted improper conduct, but denied they brought the game into disrepute, in contravention to Rule E3(1).

The commission found the disrepute element of the charge proven and as well as being fined, Mourinho was warned as to his future conduct.

Mourinho will also serve an immediate one-match touchline ban at Swansea on Sunday, after admitting he used abusive and insulting words towards a match official and accepted the standard penalty.
