Authorities of the Lagos State University, LASU, have suspended the institution’s Acting Director of Sports, Dr John Adeogun, for allegedly relinquishing his official responsibilities.
According to the university’s official bulletin, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, had approved the suspension.
The Bulletin states that Adeogun, who doubles as the Assistant-Director at the Agege Campus of the university, is also alleged to be involving a non-LASU staff in conducting sensitive official assignments.
The publication states that he has been directed to hand over his official positions to the director of external system and the chairman, sports management board.
