Nigeria’s Super Eagles skipper, John Obi Mikel, says there is still a long way to go in qualifying for the twenty-eighteen FIFA World Cup in Russia despite defeating Algeria three goals to one in Uyo on Saturday.

Nigeria is currently top of Group B with six points, four ahead of second-placed Cameroun who were held to a draw at home by Zambia.

Mike assured that the team still need at least eight more points to secure qualification for Russia twenty-eighteen.

The twenty-nine year-old midfielder, who is also pleased to get on the score sheet during the game, urged his side not to be carried away by their feat against the Fennecs.
