Head Coach of Nigeria’s Super Falconets, Peter Dedevbo, is expected to make three key changes in the starting line -up of his team in today’s FIFA World Cup clash against Canada in Port Moresby.
Dedevbo, whose team succumbed six- nil to Japan in its first group match, says Sweden -based, Christy Ohiaeriaku, would replace the team’s first choice goalkeeper and captain, Sandra Chiichii.
Ihuoma Onyebuchi, who came in for Patience Kalu in the match against Japan, will get a starting role, while Joy Bokiri who sat out the opening match, will also play against Canada, while the likes of Ugochi Emenayo, Chinwendu Ihezuo, Yetunde Adeboyejo and Chinaza Uchendu are included in the starting eleven.
Dedevbo, has reassured that the changes would pay off positively, since the adjustment was geared towards getting the points to keep hope alive in the tournament.
The team took time off from training yesterday evening to study the video clips of the game between Canada and Spain, which ended in five- nil win in favour of the Spaniards.
