In a bid to improved Maternal and Newborn Health in Lagos State, the Commissioner for Health in Lagos State Jide Idiris, represented by Director of Primary Health, Doctor Oludara saying the ministry has been passionate with the Advocacy as a result of saved live of child and women in Lagos State.
In speech said the ministry has ensure adequate facilities and good equipment to improve health in Lagos State, adding that necessary action will been take to consideration to make Lagos State a focus on health in Nigeria.
The country’s Director on Mamaye! Tunde Segun said Mamaye is an evidence for action to saved woman live by donate blood, eradicate death and also community exhortation on health.
He said the action will allow pregnant women to live after been delivering a baby, adding that Mamaye! are in line with Ministry of Transportation to saved life of people in Lagos State and entire Nigerians.
In the same vein one of the awardee Olalade Alonge who has served as heroine of Mamaye! said the action is one of the way to save live of child and women to reduce death rate in Nigeria.
