Super Eagles and Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been warned to live up to expectation inspite of the absence of the suspended Sergio Aguero.
The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, made this statement in a post- match interview after yesterday’s Uefa Champions League match against Celtic.
The Nigerian international, was on target in Manchester City’s One- all draw against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
According to Guardiola, Iheanacho, is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up for the next few games as Aguero serves his ban following the Argentine’s assault on Chelsea’s David Luiz.
It was Iheanacho’s second Champions League goal this season after first scoring in City’s 4-0 win against Monchengladbach on match day One.
