The absence of the presiding judge over Abdulmuni Jibril’s case against the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, stalled the sitting of the Federal High Court, Kano slated for today.
Speaking to newsmen at the court, the lead counsel for Jibril’s constituency, Bashir Muqaddam, said the Judge, Justice Idris Koko, had trave
lled out of the state for the Judges Conference, currently holding at the Federal Capital, Abuja.
Muqaddam said after returning from the conference, the Judges would proceed for the Christmas and New Year vacations.
He said the judges were expected to resume on January nineteen, twenty seventeen, while the case had been fixed for January eighteen, for mentioning.
