Enugu Governor Ugwuanyi gives champions Rangers land, cash gift.

Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has rewarded players, technical crew and management staff of Enugu Rangers with a whopping sum of forty-one point five million naira for winning the twenty-fifteen and twenty-sixteen Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, title.

The sports-loving governor also gave the players and their staff a plot of land each in a newly designed Rangers Estate in Enugu.

Ugwuanyi, announced the gesture during the reception organized for the team on Monday at the Okpara Square in Enugu.

Also at the occasion was the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar who is an avid supporter of the Flying Antelopes.

The Coal City side broke a thirty- two year title drought to win NPFL crown last season.
