Katsina United chairman says LMC directorship big challenge


The chairman of newly promoted Katsina United, Aminu Balele Kurfi, says his appointment as a director on the board of the League management Company LMC, will challenge him to do more for his club and the league as a whole.

The other directors for the forthcoming season are Paul Bassey from Akwa United), Emeka Inyama from Abia Warriors, Mike Idoko of Lobi Stars and Emmanuel Adeyemi of MFM FC.

Aminu, who has been involved in tennis, ensured Katsina United returned to the Nigeria premier league after a twelve-year absence.

The team returned to the elite league after winning the overall Nigeria National League championship when they topped the Super four in Gombe.
