Lagos State Government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring better security of lives and property in twenty-seventeen.
The government says the crime rate in Lagos has reduced by sixty-five percent due to the continuous efforts and heavy investment committed to security by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde who made this known, described as remarkable the success of the ”one Lagos Fiesta” interms of security, assuring that government had mapped out plans to further boost security in the state.
On roads, Ayorinde reminded Lagosians of the one hundred and fourteen roads government fixed in twenty-sixteen, saying more roads would be constructed in twenty-seventeen.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde also assured Lagosians of food security, saying government with its collaboration with Kebbi state government and other stakeholders would ensure food sufficiency in the state.
