Adegboye Onigbinde tips Nigerian team to make CAF Glo awards.

FIFA and CAF instructor, Adegboye Onigbinde, says the only way Nigerian players can win the most prestigious CAF Glo- Awards is to have practicable football development programmes.

Onigbinde, who made the assertion while speaking on Nigeria’s inability to be nominated for the yearly CAF, awards,noted that in spite of the country hosting the award for three consecutive years, its players had not been able to win the African Footballer of the Year which was the highest individual award.

None of Nigerian player made the final selection for twenty-sixteen’s Player of the Year award, leaving the competition to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and Borrusia Dortmund, Riyad Mahrez from Algeria and Leicester City, Sadio Mane from Senegal and Liverpool.
