Aruna Quadri to partner with Omar Assar of Egpyt in the men’s doubles event.

Nigeria’s sensational table tennis player, Aruna Quadri has decided to partner with Omar Assar of Egpyt in the men’s doubles event in the International Table Tennis Federation, ITTF, World Tour, tagged Hungarian Open in Budapest.

The gesture, is enable the best two table tennis players in Africa to make it to the final of ITTF World Tour.

Quadri, who played alongside Omar Assar to reach the quarter final of twenty- fifteen, Polish Open and main draw of twenty- sixteen, Austria Open, said it was an easy decision to join forces with Omar Assar since they understood each other better when they play together.
The Oyo born ping-ponger, said they had made decision to play together in all ITTF World Tours in twenty- sixteen since their objectives was to have Africa’s presence at the World Tour grand finals.
Explaining the rationale over their decision to concretise their doubles partner in the tournament, Omar Assar, described Aruna Quadri as a very good player in singles and doubles and they had a mutual relationship which went beyond the game of table tennis.

Assar, said that their priority was to reach the final in the doubles event,having defeated the duo of of Marcos Freitas of Portugal and Andre Gacina Croatia at the twenty- fifteen Polish Open.
