Victor Ezeji retire from football.

The Premier League legend, Victor Ezeji, announced his retirement from football on Saturday after a testimonial game in Port Harcourt.

The match, which featured ex-internationals Mutiu Adepoju and Austin Eguavoen, as well as the chairman of the League Management Company, Shehu Dikko, was played to honour the former player, who spent more than twenty years in the domestic league.

The match between Team NPFL and Team Ezeji ended two goals to one with Dikko and Ezeji scoring for the winners while Rivers State legislator, Kelechi Nworgu, grabbed the consolation for the opponents.

Meanwhile, Ezeji played for two-time African champions, Enyimba – winning one of the titles with them.

He also played for the defunct Sharks and Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Sunshine Stars and Heartland.
