A former National President of the Nigerian Bar Association,Olisa Agbakoba, and human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, have expressed grief over the death of a one-time Justice Minister, Doctor Olu Onagoruwa, describing him as a liberal lawyer and fighter.
Agbakoba, who said he was saddened by his passing, described him as a compatriot and fighter in the struggle for democracy in Nigeria.
Falana also commiserated with the family and pray to God to grant them the courage to bear the loss.
Onagoruwa was appointed by Abacha as Attorney-General of the Federation in November nineteen ninety- three.
He however, left the post a few months after his appointment, following disagreements with the military junta.
