Nigeria’s boxing icon, Hogan Jimoh is dead.

The renowned boxer, who had thirty-six professional fights with thirty wins, twenty-four via knockouts and lost six through knockouts, died on Sunday at a private hospital after he collapsed at his house in Agbara.

The remains of late Jimoh, who was born on December twenty-nine, nineteen-fifty-five, had since been buried at his house in Agbara along the Badagry Expressway, Lagos..

He was last seen in the sports circle on Saturday, twenty- fifth March twenty-five, twenty-sixteen, when his son, Lukmon lost to Otto Joseph in the first round of the six round National Lightweight challenge bout at the sixth edition of the Gotv Boxing night at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
