This is what Governor Akinwunmi Ambode wants members of the public to know at a Police Public Lecture on “Providing Strategic Solutions to Emergent Security Challenges: The essentials of synergy amongst Security Agencies and Civil populace”.
Speaking through his deputy, Oluranti Adebule,, as he calls for cooperation with security agencies, the Lagos State helmsman notes that necessary information from members of the public can do a lot for security operatives in intelligence gathering.
The governor claims, apart from adoption of right strategies, this important in crime combat, and goes on to throw light on the necessity for the establishment of the Lagos’ Neighbourhood Safety Corps, to help in tackling security challenges in the State.
Our correspondent, Bolanle Fadugba, reports that Governor Ambode, nonetheless, says effective solution to emerging security challenges must involve deployment of appropriate technology, as he stresses necessary and timely tips to security agencies.
