Chairman of World Rugby, Bill Beaumont, has predicted that the Twenty-seventeen Women’s Rugby World Cup would set new standards that would inspire a new generation of girls and boys to get into rugby.

The World Rugby Tournament Communications Department said the competition would hold from August nine to August Twenty-six in Ireland.

Beaumont said its legacy is set to reach beyond the profile it attracts or economic impact it delivers, adding that the legacy will be real, meaningful and tangible for the wider development of the sport through its pillars of performance and investment.
