FGF plans to provide prosthetic limbs for ten amputees in 2018

In a bid to create opportunities for people with chronic and debilitating diseases, a Non Governmental Organisation, NGO, Feet of Grace Foundation has organised a charity walk to give hope for amputees to stand and walk again.

Its founder, Irene Olumese said this became necessary to improve the quality of life of amputees in Nigeria, saying the foundation was walking to provide prosthetics limbs for ten amputees in the year twenty-eighteen.

Olumese said being able to walk again made a huge difference to regaining her autonomy, and pursuing her dreams, adding that her prosthetic ‘Feet of Grace’ were literally taking her to places that she would otherwise never had been to.

 

In the same vein, the Chairman of Feet of Grace Foundation, Mark Muddy said the Foundation stand out to provide support for amputees and provide word of comfort that God gave them a prior to the amputation of their legs.

Muddy advised amputees never to give up ,but remained focus to regaining their dreams.
